What this covers
Outlets and switches
Dead receptacles, loose devices, adding outlets where you actually need them, and replacing worn switches that no longer hold.
GFCI and AFCI protection
Required around water and increasingly for bedroom circuits. We install and test them rather than assuming the button works.
Dedicated circuits
For microwaves, window air conditioners, freezers, workshop tools and hot tubs. The fix for a breaker that keeps tripping under load.
Circuit breaker replacement
Breakers wear out. One that trips at half its rating or will not reset cleanly gets replaced with the correct type for your panel.
Troubleshooting and fault finding
Half a room dead, lights dimming when the fridge starts, an intermittent fault nobody has pinned down. We trace it methodically.
Surge protection and smoke detectors
Whole-home surge devices at the panel, plus interconnected smoke and CO alarms wired to code.

Questions
Half my outlets stopped working. What causes that?
Most often a tripped GFCI upstream that controls several outlets, a loose connection in a backstabbed receptacle, or a failed device in the middle of the chain. It is usually a quick fix once located, and we carry the parts on the truck in California.
Do you take small electrical jobs in California?
Yes. Single outlets, one switch, a fixture swap, a dead circuit. Small jobs are how most California customers meet us and we would rather do them properly than turn them away.
What is the difference between GFCI and AFCI?
GFCI protects people, cutting power when current leaks to ground, which is why it is required near water. AFCI protects the building, detecting the arcing that starts fires in damaged wiring. Modern homes need both in different places.
How do I know if I need a dedicated circuit?
If a breaker trips whenever one specific appliance runs, or lights dim when the compressor kicks in, that circuit is loaded past what it can carry. A dedicated circuit for that appliance solves it permanently.
Do you offer electrical inspections?
Yes. Pre-purchase inspections, post-storm checks and general safety assessments for California homes. You get a plain written summary of what is urgent, what should be planned, and what is fine as it is.
